🚀 $56 billion - a salary that could probably fund a small country, or at least a colony on the Moon! Tesla investors have finally backed the $56bn Musk pay deal and he clearly seems ecstatic! The compensation plan gives Musk rights to about 300 million shares - a roughly 10% stake in the firm - as a reward for the firm meeting goals once considered unfeasible, like becoming a $650bn firm. This could potentially impact Tesla’s share price and overall company valuation. With this reapproval, Musk’s package remains far above what any other CEO has ever received. I do believe the future is bright for Tesla with the robotaxi hype and Musk happy to lead it now. For the past 6 years, my whole passion has been driving AI research, development, and validation. First, as a PhD student in a cooperation with Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and as a member of the Berkeley DeepDrive Consortium, and the "KI Familie", and later, as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, then AI Product Owner and Team Lead. We’ve come a long way over the past years. I will miss all the apiary 🐝 and bee metaphors we came up with to make our product more tangible to stakeholders - and, of course, even more fun - and I appreciate you made sure I will remember this with every step I will be taking. I cherish all the experiences and learnings I had, all the highs and lows that come naturally. I couldn‘t have asked for a better time and team.
